Why don't they support their own first party titles such as Rallisport Challenge 2 or Mech Assault 2?! I want to play Rallisport 2 so much but don't have an original xbox! ahhh!!!
I never said it looked the greatest, although some of the metal reflections looked nice. I said that people were saying that much action couldn't happen on the 360 at once. Graphics wise it looks about the same as Warhawk. The main character could use a little work though. Obviously not every game is going to look as good as Gears of War because not every studio, especially small Japanese studios, have the money to put into the projects.
I thought I kept hearing from the Sony camp that this much stuff couldn't happen onscreen at once on the 360.
I can see your point in regards to new games, but these two games have been out for years and these ads are a new addition. The games have already been made, they came bundled with Half-Life 1 and Half-Life 2, respectively. This is just something to make a few extra dollars on the side.
I'll provide one example for you because I was really upset about it. Last year I got Battlefield 2 for the xbox (same content as the 360 version). I had gotten this game after playing the demo on the PC all summer long, but stopped after being annoyed with my computer crashing. The xbox version had all the character classes messed with, squads were taken out, and there was no commander mode. How can you talk about some one not even owning a PS3 when you don't own a 360? Play Project Gotham 3, don't just watch videos. The cars, the environments, all fantastic. The photo mode is a finishing touch that makes the game even better. I'm not going to say Motorstorm is a bad game because it looks fun as hell. Project Gotham 3 doesn't have the physics, but it has the environments hands-down.
The game does indeed look very fun as I am a big racing game fan and loved the Rallisport Challenge games on original xbox. I also think the graphics are very good. It's not any louder than a PC. All of my PC gaming friends even agree with that. The only people I ever hear complaining about the noise are Sony fanboys. I do think it's really cool the PS3 is quiet, but that's not a selling point to me because I don't hear the 360 over my game sound.
I'm not disagreeing with you, but seeing a really good looking game on a system that I bought makes me feel even more that the money spent was justified.

I never understood the PS3 commercials. From the PS3 commercials I understand that I would be buying some kind of telekinetic machine which will randomly solve my rubiks cube... because it's smarter, and faster. Telekineses aside, the whole smarter, faster thing makes me think the people behind the advertisement just finished watching the $6 million man.

They need to stop calling that thing a 9-core CPU. It is really misleading.
the problem is if you use a non widescreen resolution such as 1024x768 the image is widescreen, but noticeably squished. even though my monitor isn't widescreen I use the 1280x720 resolution and adjust my vertical height to make it widescreen.
Rental discs are never scratched that bad and used game stores don't take games that are even half as scratched as what is shown in the picture.
